Writer, Émilie Notéris, born in 1978, defines herself as a travailleuse du texte (text worker). She published science fiction (Cosmic trip, 2008 ; Séquoiadrome, 2011) and essays (Fétichisme postmoderne, 2010). She also works as a translator (Marshall McLuhan, Sidipta Kaviraj, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Slavoj Zizek, Bruce Wagner), and is in charge of the whole translations work within the Festival Mode d’emploi organised by la Villa Gillet in Lyon. She also collaborated to a collective work published by the éditions des Prairies Ordinaires in 2015, and dedicated to the serie Game of Thrones. Émilie Notéris is currently working on a book dealing with science-fiction and queer theory.
