Nadège Piton is a performing artist, curator and artistic coordinator for Transpalette (the art center created by the association Emmetrop in Bourges). After studying History of Art and Anthropology at the EHESS, she worked for numerous institutions, both state (the regional cultural board DRAC for Ile-de-France, the French Ministry of Culture, the National Centre for Fine Arts CNAP…) and private (archiving an art collection for three years, organising the 50th anniversary of the international Graphic Alliance…). She developed her taste for playfulness and for the stage when she started performing in burlesque cabaret and political satire. At the same time as performing, she trained in voiceover, reading Virginie Despentes’ Apocalypse Bébé and voicing documentaries such as Les révoltés du Baul broadcast on France 3 …. These days she is in charge of programming and mediation for the art center Transpalette.
After Fine Arts studies in art school in Bourges, Érik and some fellow art students at the school set up the association Emmetrop. Year after year, Emmetrop has become a must in the cultural landscape of the Centre region. The association has 17 employees, a wellknown show venue and an art center which recently earned a quality label. Érik Noulette is continuing his work within the association as a member of the management board while leading “postgender” workshops in several art schools.

Ewen Chardronnet

Jean-Gabriel Périot was born in 1974. Back in 1998, within the short movies and creation department of French TV channel Canal Plus, then as a documentary editor for French TV channels Arte and France 3, he gained experience in documentary editing. He worked in parallel with many choreographers and on the videography of some exhibitions at the Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, before engaging in 2000 in his own first projects. He often builds his films from pre-existing archives ; photos, films, Internet files… He works out and reflects on the polymorphous status of violence within our societies. Everything goes on through the power of images, no speech, no comments : just a cinema-reflection. Through his films, Jean-Gabriel Périot focuses on image manipulation: fond of syncopated edition, he abandons aestheticism in favour of the – necessarily political – speech , he retrieves from the image in order to contest the space. He loves to create confusion juggling with the cinema genres (documentary experimental fiction animation), he often pops up where he is not expected. His films have been selected and rewarded in festivals worldwide.
